“Prima hotel in het hart van Den Haag.”
The room was spacious with a nice large bed, a beautiful bathroom featuring a big tub and a good shower. Surprisingly quiet even in the middle of the city, and the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that the coffee machine in the room was broken; we mentioned it and a note was immediately taken.
“Countryside in a city hotel”
Parking was a breeze. The décor is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful. Even though you’re in central The Hague, the garden and courtyard make you feel like you’re in the countryside.
“Prima verblijf, lekker midden in het centrum. Op loopafstand van winkels en veel horeca.”
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and the bathroom was pleasant. I expected more from the layout of the room since we booked a suite. It didn’t feel like a suite at all, with a portable AC and no space to hang clothes. There was a wardrobe with a hanging section, but it was tiny—more of a shoe cabinet. The black furniture in the room looked a bit cheap.
“Fijne locatie, maar veel geluidsoverlast en achterstallig onderhoud”
The location was lovely right in the city centre. However, we were woken up very early (around 6.20 am) because of the neighbouring café's stocking and bottle‑changing, and then the breakfast preparations started to get quite loud. Our suite—different from the photos—was next to the breakfast hall, making it very disruptive. A suite with some maintenance issues in that part of the hotel is simply unacceptable.
“Enjoyed my stay. It was Convenient to my needs.”
The place is clean and feels spacious. The only hiccup was that carrying heavy bags up the stairs was a challenge.
