It’s an amazing place to stay if you’re looking for quality and affordability, but the staff were the cleanest.

The place is in a suburb of Dodoma, hard to reach, still under construction with no locks or bell at the gate; we rang the bell and knocked on the iron gate for half an hour with no response. The gate, lacking a lock, opens on its own, and no one greeted us. Keep in mind we were six Italian doctors on “The Africa Rally,” an international charity rally starting from Johannesburg with 45 teams worldwide, aiming to reach Bagamoyoin in three weeks to raise donations for rare genetic diseases in children. We entered the compound, waited for minutes, and just as we were about to leave, a 14‑15‑year‑old boy appeared, telling us we were there to receive rooms. We carried our luggage into three rooms, and one of us tried to take a shower: a terrible idea because the bathrooms lack a grounding plug and the water turns to sludge. The boy then called me and handed me a phone; on it was the owner of the property who told me we had to leave because all the men and two women couldn’t sleep in the same room. We had to leave, luckily finding a proper, serious hotel (Hotel Brand). Note that the owner of the million‑dollar property is also a liar, as he later claimed to Booking that we hadn’t been there. Fortunately I discovered the truth—that we had indeed arrived and he had lied. The lack of grounding in the bathrooms, the inability to secure cars (gate without a lock in a very peripheral area), and the unqualified, deceitful behavior of the owner made the stay unacceptable.

The place is very cool, and I think a kitchen would be a great addition for those who don’t want to buy food outside. The place is amazing and cool.

The staff were unhelpful and the rooms didn’t match the photos; the shower was faulty and the breakfast tasted bland.
