“Cheap and nasty and the Booking.com rating of 9 is ridiculous”
The only thing that impressed me was the secure parking right outside our room. We paid extra for one breakfast when we booked a non‑refundable stay, yet none was provided. The sheets were missing, and the next morning we discovered that the only “cleaning” involved hanging quilts and towels out in the sun, which left the towels smelling. Hand towels were absent, and the basic bathroom supplies were minimal. The water jug’s cord didn’t reach the single wall plug, and black ants were everywhere. There was no proper furniture and no place to store bags except on the floor. The room was tiny, the bathroom cramped, the shower heater was broken, and the design meant no hot water reached the basin. We had booked for four nights but left after one, accepting the loss of the remaining three nights’ costs.
