“Thank you ladies for an amazing week in Pommard!”
We had stayed at La Maison de Pommard for a couple of nights last year and were so enamored with the maison and the surrounding area we just had to return for a full week! Our first night we enjoyed an an amazing dinner prepared by Laura, accompanied by a lovely bottle of pinot from the proprietor's family domaine. A leisurely breakfast each morning, meticulously prepared and served by Fatima, was the perfect start to our days. Looking out on the beautiful gardens with our morning coffee was sooooo relaxing. Anda (and her handsome Whippet Max!), Laura and Fatima were always so pleasant, and we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Isabel as well. The location is ideal, a very short drive to some of the best wineries and tasting rooms in the world. In fact, you can walk through the vineyards and ancient streets to some of the best right there in Pommard and Volnay! After a day of wine tasting and exploring, the maison is so welcoming with a crackling fire and soft, ambient music. Cant say enough about our stay. Nope, nothing.everything was perfect!
