The hotel was clean. I was supposed to receive a pre‑arrival email with the check‑in instructions, but it never came. When I finally went to the hotel, I couldn’t get in and had to wait about 40 minutes in the cold. I eventually managed to get in after someone got in touch, but I almost felt like I’d have to camp outside.

What a lovely place! The host was incredibly kind and took wonderful care of me, so I’m glad I stayed here. There are three private bedrooms upstairs and shared rooms downstairs, but I was the only guest for most of my stay, so it was very peaceful. Book at least 24 hours in advance to make sure someone is there to let you in, as the host doesn’t live on site and it can be hard to reach them last minute. Lawson is just around the corner, and many restaurants are a 10‑15 minute walk away. A great choice in Shingu!

I love this property. The interior is superior. I met the hosts as well and they were super kind. They saw that I'm studying so they brought me ice cream 😭 🩷 I would come back here for sure
