I was disappointed with my stay. The staff were neither welcoming nor helpful. The room smelled strongly and unpleasantly, especially from the carpet, and it seemed poorly cleaned. Overall, the cleanliness and comfort were below my expectations.

The place feels authentic and rustic, surrounded by lush greenery. The rooftop lounge offers amazing sunsets, and the happy‑hour cocktails plus Khmer and Western food are great. Scooter and bicycle hire are affordable and the gear is in good condition. The staff are fantastic—patient and responsive. I totally recommend it for anyone who wants to experience riverside life. Thanks, Yellow Sun Kampot! The only downside is mosquitoes, but they’re manageable with a good repellent—I used Aeroguard Tropical Strength.

Credo che questo sia l’ostello più bello nel quale io sia mai stata. Personale meraviglioso, ottimo cibo, bungalow stupendi. Ho passato un mese qui, ci ho lasciato il cuore. Sono sicura che un giorno tornerò. Nelle giornate calde si fa il bagno al fiume, si può fare kayak o rilassarsi sui divanetti e le amache. Alla sera ci si diverte con musica e cocktail. Ho anche avuto la possibilità di fare volontariato. Lo consiglierei a chiunque, preparatevi a lasciarci il cuore
