How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location on the reed island was amazing and the host was friendly. A fire warmed the room, making it very cozy. The room was huge with a lovely seating area overlooking the lake. The only downside was that there was no hot water first thing in the morning because it is solar powered.

The room was clean, all three meals were delicious, the owner was very nice, and we could row on the lake, which was very relaxing. It would have been better if there were more guided tours on the lake.

It was a very charming and unique place to stay, with beautiful views and a wonderfully peaceful and serene atmosphere. Staying on a local Uros island was a special experience, and we really enjoyed learning about how the islands are built and maintained, as well as the history and traditions of the Uros people. We especially liked using the complimentary kayaks to explore the island and see the surroundings from the water. One area that could be improved is communication in advance. It would have helped to know the meal times, where meals would be served, and who would take us on the Uros Islands tour and what the tour would involve. It would also have been useful to know beforehand whether the kayaks were available to use freely whenever we wanted. We recognise that it might not have been such an issue if we had good Spanish.

We had an amazing stay with César and his wife; they picked us up by boat late at night and we loved the place. The next day the breakfast was great and the Uros excursion was a highlight. We were truly thrilled.
