The room was spacious and well furnished, with parking right outside the door, but everything was old‑fashioned; the garden looked sad in late summer, and although breakfast was listed as included, the staff directed us to nearby restaurants or cafés at extra cost.

The upstairs room felt like a treehouse, and from our balcony we could see the creek and courtyard fountain; the only downside was no breakfast on Sunday, but the great place across the street made up for it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and overall it was reasonably clean, but dust was noticeable in hidden spots that I doubt were fully cleaned. I’m very sensitive to dust because of allergies, so I could feel it triggering my symptoms; the bed, air conditioning vents, carpet, and curtains all need a thorough cleaning, especially the vents—I'm not sure when they were last serviced. My allergy symptoms improved when I turned off the air conditioning.
