“Convenient and comfortable inn.”
The place was next to the highway I was on and close to downtown. The inn could use a refresh and better room access for guests with mobility issues.
The place is decent and the front desk staff were helpful, but the old motel only had a few electrical outlets.
“Staff were from Newfoundland and they were very witty and friendly as are all Newfoundlanders.”
The bed was cozy and I could easily adjust the room temperature, yet when I asked for a quiet room I ended up on a room facing the highway.
“Clean room and quiet location for nightime.”
The location was good and away from loud night traffic. The beds were comfortable and clean, and I liked how big the fridge was and how well it worked. The room itself was quite worn out: a rattling window pane, outside noise pouring in through the air‑conditioning unit that was hanging right underneath, wallpaper hanging down from the ceiling in a few spots, and a 1/2” gap along the door that let hallway light in all night. The lighting in the room was very poor. The front‑desk staff was initially not welcoming or friendly, but warmed up after a bit of personal conversation.
“we enjoyed our stay”
Everything was perfect.
