Hotel Haus Seehang

A cozy hotel just a short walk from the lake on a hill. We arrived late in the evening, outside of check‑in time, with our bicycles and our dog. The manager personally welcomed us warmly and we could store and charge our e‑bikes in a lockable garage. The room was spacious, with a super comfortable bed, tile flooring, a minibar fridge, and a cozy terrace overlooking the lake. The breakfast room was fantastic, offering an extraordinary buffet with fruits, cakes, eggs, slices and spreads, sausage and cheese, vegetables, jams, Nutella, a variety of teas, and oatmeal options. Coffee, tea, and eggs were served directly. The manager was very nice – we’ll definitely return. There’s an extra fee of €15 per night for the dog; the dog cannot join the breakfast but is otherwise warmly welcomed.

The breakfast was fresh with plenty of options, the room was clean, and the staff and chefs were very friendly and accommodating.

The owners and the whole team are extremely friendly, helpful and considerate, making you feel welcome right away and creating a very family‑like atmosphere. The hotel’s location is beautiful, offering a magnificent view of the lake and the harbor. Rooms are very clean and provide everything needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is truly exceptional – not a typical spread but more like a royal feast with an incredibly large and varied selection, leaving no desire unmet. Parking is available and very convenient. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would stay here again anytime.

The place was heavenly quiet. I had a garage spot, and the hotel staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was adequate and good; with the bus you can quickly reach Konstanz or Mainau, or take a boat to Überlingen. There are few dinner options in town.
