It was close to the beach and the staff were very friendly, but the bed was quite hard. The room was on the ground floor and when we arrived we found plenty of insects inside: ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, and even a lizard. We had to spend a good while cleaning and preparing the room before settling in. We arrived at night and it was raining. Access to the accommodation is via a dirt road that was completely flooded when it rained, making it hard to find a place to eat. It’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re arriving in bad weather.
“Lovely stay close to the beach”
This small family‑run spot earned a perfect 10.0/10. It’s clean, offers basic amenities, and the walk to the beach takes about 3 minutes on a private road. The hosts are friendly and run an inexpensive laundry service that we used. We extended our stay because we liked the room and even received a discount. The room had air conditioning, a fan, a balcony, a mosquito net, and a comfortable bed, plus a mini fridge. We’d definitely stay again.
I scored this 9.0/10. The breakfast was excellent, the room and bathroom were spacious, and the hosts were very helpful and kind. You can pay by card (though it isn’t discounted on the island).
I got a solid 8.0/10 rating for this place. The room was clean and in a good spot, and breakfast was great. The host family were lovely and very helpful, but the shower was cold.
“AMAZING! A little gem! Great location, facilities, hosts and value for money! Fridge and kettle lovely additions!”
I gave it a 10.0/10. Everything was spot‑on: location, facilities, hosts, and value for money. It’s a little gem. I loved the fridge and kettle, which were nice extras. If you can, stay here—I’d 100% return.
