The spot is great and the team was super friendly, yet the floors squeaked a lot, making it hard to sleep; they did offer ear plugs on the dresser, which I should have used since I'm a light sleeper and get woken by almost everything. The place is amazing, just old, and that’s what gives it its charm.

The structure is dated but very distinctive for my taste, the bed is comfortable and the cleaning is good, however the bathroom is outside the room and dated, and the room faces the street, so there is a lot of noise at night.

I loved the vibe of this guesthouse; having a piano and jigsaws to keep busy when the weather was wet was great, and the facilities for making hot drinks and cooking my own food were excellent. I was initially worried about a shared bathroom, but it turned out that each room had its own bathroom, so there was nothing to worry about.
