“Excellent hotel”

Everything was fine except the price, which was high because it was high season.

“Make sure you request a main floor room. The second floor had NOT been renovated.”

The second room they assigned us was good—a renovated room on the main floor, as shown on the website pictures. The rooms on the second floor are awful; they haven’t been renovated.

“Nice staff not sure about the management”

The hotel offers a microwave, fridge, good location, parking, and helpful staff. However, the service level was really poor. Since most guests are heading to the Agawa Train, the hotel should open breakfast earlier—only 30 minutes before the ticket office opens. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests, so many had to skip breakfast. The floor was very dirty, with a gritty dusty coating. The worst issue for me was the bed in room 128, nearest the windows: the mattress was completely worn out and squeaked so badly it woke me several times, and my wife’s bed in the other room made the same noise whenever I moved. At $250 per night, that’s just unacceptable.
