A compact, tranquil spot right in nature, where the morning chorus of birds wakes you and the breakfast is solid. The evenings are perfect for stargazing by a log fire. The only hitch was that the last 2.5 km to the lodge needed a 4x4, but that didn’t bother us.

An outstanding weekend escape: the valet check‑in was smooth, and the front desk staff greeted us by name with flawless service. Our suite was spotless, exceptionally quiet, and the private balcony offered gorgeous bush views. Breakfast was a world‑class tasting menu, and Rose and Siphiwe anticipated every need. A truly top‑tier experience that surpassed all expectations.

A superbly quiet spot far from town, bordered by bush and frequented by wildlife and birds. We were told the access road had been damaged by January rain, but it was passable with caution in our hired Corolla Crossover. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The waste bin hadn’t been emptied, and my wife was disturbed by the noise of car doors opening and closing and a vehicle moving early in the morning—likely from the only nearby guest, whose car had moved by morning.

The property is modern, beautifully decorated, and set in nature. The spaces are large and well maintained. The trail you take to get there is a bit of a challenge, but that’s the price you pay for being in the middle of nowhere.
