Very beautiful and stately hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family suite, a separate house with a living room, 2 rooms and a bathroom. The dinner was of superior quality, each plate was a painting, super delicious. We had the best wagyu. Very good breakfast, only regret that there is no buffet. Good location. Our house was right against the street where a school is. From 6:30 there was a lot of noise, also because of the single glazing. The beds were quite short.

The villa, freshly renovated, offers suites and cottages surrounded by a lovely estate garden, and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The location is a pleasant 15‑minute drive from Cape Town’s center and another 15 minutes to Contantia’s top wine estates. Every detail, from check‑in to check‑out, was flawless.

The place is close to the airport, which is a plus. However, the house is so far from the school that I couldn’t sleep at all, and the lack of services made me feel completely lost.

The staff and the food were outstanding, and the massage and pedicure were both excellent. The beds are too short for Europeans, the bathroom drainage doesn’t work well, and the pool isn’t heated, so it was cold—something a spa hotel should avoid. The jacuzzi we booked was also too cold; 32 °C is too chilly in winter, it should be at least 37 °C.
