“Une chambre minuscule”
The terrace helps offset the cramped size of the room, and the welcome was warm, but the room is so tiny that two people can't even pull items out of a backpack.

The hostess was great and the setting was quiet and relaxing.

The location was perfect on the Via Francigena, the washing machine worked, but it took a long time to heat the apartment.

I liked that the place was on the route of the Via Francigena I was walking, but there were too many issues: the reception was awful, the key hand‑over was confusing, the nearest neighbor was two streets away, there was no Wi‑Fi and I had to ask the host’s sister for a private code, the room had no cup, table, chair or bench for my stuff, and the only food nearby was a take‑away pizzeria—so I ate pizza on the bed because there was nowhere else to eat. In short, it’s a shame that this is listed on the site.
The communication with the owner and the welcome were very friendly, but the whole apartment was very dark, the sheets were washed but still spotted, there was no duvet cover, the kitchen and bathroom were dirty, and both the entrance and the apartment itself were messy.
