We got a street‑level apartment with no problems, Tony was a fantastic host who gave great recommendations and his apple juice was perfect, and we were extremely close to Mt Saint Michel; I would just add a few more sockets.

We had a great stay; the place was quiet and we slept well. The bed was excellent and everything needed for comfort was provided. Breakfast was delivered to the room. The owner kindly let us taste the super‑organic apples freshly picked from his garden, which were truly delightful. The parking spot is right next to the apartment entrance on the ground floor, making it easy and quick to load and unload luggage. The only downside is that it gets a bit dark if you arrive late at night, but that’s part of the charm of the area where you can admire the stars and enjoy the night’s silence.

If you want a free lesson in politeness, this is the place! Unfortunately everything else is paid: bedding, towels, umbrella, and grill all cost extra. Initially there was a misunderstanding because we brought our own bedding, and we should have warned that we wouldn’t want paid bedding. I believe the host should have clarified beforehand whether I wanted to pay for the extra service instead of imposing extra costs. Reading earlier reviews made me think I had ended up in a different place by mistake. In previous reviews the host was friendly and had a cute dog, but our experience was different. We couldn’t go out onto the terrace because the dog was aggressive, and the host was not welcoming. When we arrived, the first thing he wrote was not a welcome but a warning to take off our shoes at the entrance… The place is far from clean, and there is mold near the shower. The apartment is very basic, lacking coziness. We had a comparison point because we had stayed the previous night in a cozy place in Cancun with a nice grandfather where everything smelled warm. The cherry on top was a lecture telling us we were rude and ill‑mannered. We endured all this because we had to choose between the host’s self‑assertion and sleeping on the street. Anyway, Mont Saint‑Michel is beautiful! The trip itself was unforgettable! I definitely do not recommend this place for a stay.
