The property we booked was across the road, but the one we got had construction in the yard, rooms smelled horrible—maybe paint or something—and bricks were piled against the wall with wheelbarrows. It was so bad we cancelled immediately and couldn’t sleep there even for one night.

There’s always someone at reception who’s very helpful; the room was clean and the Wi‑Fi was excellent, and there was a fridge and a kettle. The room was very basic and lacked some comforts that you’d find elsewhere at the same price.

The reception guy, Sbusiso, was very friendly and helpful, but the location is the only downside; the road up is a narrow, bumpy gravel path that isn’t suitable for a small car.
