The spot is great, but they never told me that the bus drop‑off had luggage help.

The place was super friendly, spotless, and the canal views were amazing – a truly charming stay with nothing to complain about.

Excellent location and lovely hotel, but breakfast and room amenities need improvement The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Cannaregio is a beautiful, charming and much quieter neighbourhood, away from the overwhelming crowds around Piazza San Marco, where it can sometimes be difficult to simply walk around and enjoy the city. Being able to stay in such a peaceful area while still being just a 20-minute walk from Piazza San Marco is a huge advantage. The hotel itself is very clean, the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the terrace was absolutely lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly because of the wonderful location, cleanliness and comfort of the room. However, improving the breakfast and adding full-length mirrors would make a significant difference to the overall guest experience and bring the hotel more in line with what guests should expect at this price point. First, the breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast included with the hotel is extremely basic, with very limited options and disappointing quality. There is no fresh fruit, only fruit in syrup or some kind of pre-cut fruit mixture, and the coffee comes from a very basic machine. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the hotel's own restaurant offers a much better breakfast for an additional €15. You can literally be sitting next to someone enjoying a freshly made omelette, juice and proper coffee, while you are left with the very limited breakfast included in your room rate. I found this arrangement quite disappointing, especially considering the price of the hotel. A decent-quality breakfast should not require an additional payment at a hotel in this price range. Second, the lack of a full-length mirror in the room. This might sound like a small detail, but I genuinely find it unacceptable for a hotel in Venice, a city where people come on holiday, dress up and go out to enjoy themselves. Being able to see your entire outfit before leaving the room is such a basic expectation. I mentioned this to the receptionist, who acknowledged the issue and said they were planning to install full-length mirrors. While I appreciated her response, I don't think this is a reasonable excuse given the price of the accommodation

The place is charming, in a great spot just off the main street, close to restaurants, shops, and not too far from St. Mark’s Square. It sits right on the canal, so the view is amazing. The hosts are nice and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the double bed plus two twin beds for our two kids. Breakfast was very good, with a fresh selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, etc. I highly recommend it! The only downside was the stairs – no elevator, but we managed with our suitcases.
