The location and staff attention were spot on, but the pillows were ridiculously thin - not exactly the most comfortable sleeping experience. Still, it's a great spot to base yourself and explore.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. They let me check in super early, which was a lifesaver. I also loved the welcome package - the natural insect repellent was a great touch, especially since I was heading out on a boat trip. And when I had to catch an early bus, they even made me a packed breakfast. The staff were really fabulous and went above and beyond.

The location's pretty great, close to the river and historic centre, but the room situation was a bit of a letdown. I'd booked a triple room with two beds and an armchair, but what I got was a tiny single room with a small bed and zero space to put my luggage or even a chair. No phone either - felt a bit misled, to be honest.
