Despite being unfamiliar with Yelapa, I was pleased to find that the hotel offered basic services, and I was impressed by the attention provided by Vallarta Travel Rewards. However, the lack of staff to attend to our needs was a major issue, and I had to deal with cleanliness and ventilation problems on my own.

The staff were incredibly friendly and communicated well with me before and during my stay. The room was clean and relatively quiet, which was a big plus. The floor fans were a lifesaver in helping to block out any background noise. My only suggestion would be to add a small table or dresser outside the bathroom for storing toiletries and other essentials.

The hotel's central location in Yelapa was a major draw for me, and the room itself was spacious with a comfortable bed. The kitchenette was well-equipped, although we did have to request a lighter for the stove. Unfortunately, the facilities were somewhat lacking, with no hot water, a broken toilet seat, and a showerhead that fell off. The management company seemed to be working on addressing these issues, but it's clear that the property needs some upgrades.

I have to say that I loved the town of Yelapa, but unfortunately, the hotel didn't quite live up to my expectations. There was no staff on site, and the rooms were sweltering due to the lack of air conditioning. We also encountered some issues with humidity and a water leak in one of the rooms. The location, while scenic, was also quite challenging to navigate, especially with the steep hills. I'm glad we only booked one night, as the heat and noise kept me awake multiple times.
