“Hyggelig opphold og god mat men litt utdatert fasiliteter”
The staff are friendly. The place feels a bit old and outdated.

The original charm and atmosphere are present, which is what makes high‑mountain hotels great, along with a very welcoming and present host couple and staff. The central location in Gålå offers outstanding chances to step straight onto the mountain and enjoy well‑prepared cross‑country ski trails.

The lunch was good, but the dinner was far too expensive. The rooms were cold when I arrived, and the dinner was pricey.

Everything is too expensive; half the price would have been acceptable. The hotel feels like it belongs to the past and needs an upgrade.

The new owners are super friendly. We had a small problem with the drainage in our room and were swiftly moved to another even better room. Great views over the lake. Very cosy atmosphere and an amazing three course dinner. The cooking is really very good! And thanks for letting the loype towards Fagerhøy be freshly groomed for us
