“Good for an overnight stop”

The room was tidy and comfy, and the shower water was hot and good. A secure parking spot across the street was locked overnight. I couldn’t connect to Wi‑Fi on my iPhone or iPad; a staff member tried to help but couldn’t get me online either.

The reception was very good, the meals offered were tasty, and the air‑conditioning was appreciated during the heatwave. The city center is close to Place de Parking. The room was outdated.

“Bon rapport qualité prix, un tout petit peu loin du centre ville, mais trés faisable à pieds.”

We booked a double room, but the manager offered us a family room for the same price; it actually consisted of two rooms and had a fridge in the bathroom, plus air‑conditioning. Breakfast cost 7€ and was decent. The hotel is an old café‑restaurant, which explains the room rates. We couldn’t try the restaurant because it was closed all weekend. When we arrived around 3 p.m., everything was shut, curtains drawn, no signage, which worried us. Fortunately the phone number was displayed on the front window, and someone came very quickly. It would be good to warn guests about possible front‑desk absences.

“Très bien”

The bikes were safely stored as requested, and we were offered a substitute for the daily special at the same price—really nice. The street noise at the start of the evening, combined with the heat, made us keep the window open.
