There was no front desk and I didn’t see any staff during my four nights, even when I needed toilet paper and bath towels; there was no hot water, the faucets were faulty, and the room hadn’t been prepared when I arrived. The bedding also needed improvement. I’m disappointed because my stay two years ago had been fine.

The place is in a great spot, close to everything but not on the main street. The staff are very friendly and ready to help. The room comes with several amenities, like a hair dryer and a iron, and the bed is comfortable. However, the rooms aren’t well insulated; you can hear everything happening in neighboring rooms or the small hallway across. The blanket is a throw, and I’m not sure it’s washed regularly; there’s no toilet paper.

“Calme et confortable pour le prix le plus bas que j’ai trouvé au Maldives”

The owner was very friendly and gave good advice, and the place stayed quiet even during Ramadan prayers thanks to solid soundproofing. The oversized double bed was very comfortable, and the shared kitchen had everything needed for cooking or a simple breakfast. However, there was no hot water, and aside from the owner, none of the staff spoke English, making communication difficult.

It was a cheap option and in a good location, but the host was nowhere to be found for two whole days. We even had to ask other guests for the Wi-Fi password. Not exactly what I call a welcoming experience.

The price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The hotel was a letdown in many ways.
