The bathroom and toilet are separate, and you can watch YouTube there. The location turned out to be right in the middle of a nightlife district, which was unexpected for what I thought was an ordinary business hotel.
Even though it was a smoking‑allowed room, there was no odor and the toilet was separate from the unit bath, plus the entertainment district outside stayed surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately I found used heated‑cigarette sticks under the desk, a stranger’s ice pack in the freezer, and one snap button on the bathrobe was broken so it wouldn’t fasten.
The proximity to the train station (10‑15 min walk) and shops, the free laundry services offered by the hotel (laundry to drop in the morning and pick up in the evening after our visits), the staff always present and attentive, and the bed size (140 cm wide instead of 120 cm like some other hotels I’ve stayed at in the same city). Nothing. Some comments mentioned that the hotel is in a hot district (which is true), but as foreigners no one approached us!
I used this place while traveling; it’s about a ten‑minute walk to Toyama Station. The front of the hotel opens onto a bustling entertainment area with many night‑time venues, so it seems geared toward business travelers. It was quiet during the Obon holidays, but being in a lively district means noise could be an issue, and the nearest convenience store is a few minutes’ walk away.
