I found the place clean and functional, even though it’s minimal. The breakfast was rather poor and only salty items were offered.

Overall, the accommodation was good. It’s located in an industrial area, so the noise level is a bit affected, especially because frozen goods are stored next door, which is weird. Otherwise, you can get supplies everywhere and the bus takes you quickly and cheaply into Linz city.

When I booked, I knew the place was outside the city, 4 km to the nearest McDonald’s, and there was nothing nearby. Arriving at 19 h made things a bit complicated; we could grab a drink but it was closed, so we had to go into town for dinner. The hostel looks more like a family house with kids’ toys everywhere. That said, there were people at breakfast, so I guess it’s known. The room was clean, the bathroom/WC also clean but basic. Big plus: free parking.

A nice young woman welcomed us. We had to fetch the knife ourselves for breakfast. There was no table set and everything felt a bit half-hearted.
