“Friendly Staff, Too Quiet”
The staff were friendly and there was a cute dog around, which made the place feel welcoming. The only downside was how quiet it was—so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
“Short Stay, Big Noise”
The hostel's location was good and the bed was okay for a short stay. Unfortunately, the private room was basic and not the cleanest, and the gaps between rooms let me hear every conversation. The TV in the lounge stayed on all the time, the fan was broken, and cigarette and cooking smells filled the room. Staff were rarely present, there was only one ladies' shower, and other guests kept trying to open my door—overall a messy, chaotic vibe.
“Quiet Spot, Uncomfortable Mattress”
The hotel is close to the Esplanade, quiet, and the owner is very experienced. The foam mattress, however, made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
“Budget Stay with Bugs and Noise”
For the price, the room was decent and the bed comfy. I could check in early and stay out until my flight, and the location was great for food and shops. But the double room was next to a bunk room with a gap in the wall, so I heard everything, and the doors never locked. Bugs—maybe mosquitoes or bed bugs—made my legs itch, and the security was weak with no staff around.
“Room Mix‑up and Cannabis Smell”
We didn't get the room we booked, couldn't lock it, and there was a strong cannabis odor. Feeling unsafe, we had to leave and find another place.
