We've stayed here before. The staff are always great and the pub has a good vibe. The food is good and the room is clean. The beds are comfortable.

We made a late booking here because we needed somewhere to stay in Appleby. We had to leave our bags first thing in the morning and the staff were very accommodating; when we came back in the evening our bags were waiting in our room. We had a good dinner and a very comfortable night right in the centre of Appleby. We couldn't have asked for more! Nothing.
