Nothing was good, everything was bad. The fridge and microwave were dirty and broken, and on several nights my reservations were cancelled at 6 am because the property managers didn’t like the online price being lower than the walk‑in price and wanted to force me to pay in person; when I asked why, they blamed the FIFA games and said they’d go with the highest offer for the room, adding that it’s just business and they have the right to cancel anyone’s reservation. I had booked the hotel for the entire month, staying with my child, and I get paid daily, so waking up before work to find my room cancelled during the week of the FIFA games was a huge problem because all other hotels were booked and my son and I would have had to sleep in a car. I asked the hotel if they could cancel my reservations for the rest of the month, but they never did and tried to charge me every day even though I requested cancellation; I’m not happy with this stay.
