The place is in a good spot and the staff are friendly, but it feels like an old home for seniors and hasn't changed much; the rooms are hard to find because the layout is like a rabbit warren, and the owners probably know this but haven't improved it.

The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I didn’t like having to bring my passport even though I’d already paid the hotel fees in full. The room was a bit dated and the bathroom was very small.

The staff made us feel very welcome, our room was lovely and spotless, and the scaffolding didn’t ruin the view. The whole hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of food, finished off with hot tea or coffee. There was nothing to dislike.
