A good, normal hotel. Convenient, with extra services that raise the comfort level. Breakfast can be taken if you’re a big fan of Chinese cuisine.

“Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, as it was the most disappointing hotel experience I have”

The shower had great water pressure, and the hotel’s location was conveniently between several major attractions. My experience at the hotel was disappointing and raised concerns about professionalism and transparency. Although I had booked a two‑double‑bed room with a river view, I was told upon arrival that an extra RMB 400 was needed for a “full” river view upgrade. Exhausted from a long day of travel, I paid via Alipay, only to later discover the transfer went to a personal account instead of the hotel’s official payment system. I also asked not to be given a corner room, yet the room offered was at the far end corner of the 25th floor, where the corridor felt isolated and unwelcoming. After expressing my dissatisfaction during the room viewing, the staff promptly refunded the RMB 400 before we returned to reception. Additionally, the lift service was extremely inefficient; with only two elevators serving floors from basement level –3 up to level 26, waiting times were consistently long and inconvenient.

The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and welcoming with an extraordinary view. Unfortunately, no staff at reception spoke English, which made the check‑in process complex and exhausting.
