“Disappointing and not made to feel welcome.”
The location was convenient for reaching Main Street, yet we were disappointed that no complimentary water bottle was offered even though the temperature hit 39c and we were sweating from riding motorbikes; the reception greeter was grumpy, I had to haul my own bags, and a man who seemed to work in the takeaway followed us to our rooms to ask for a tip; the rooms were fairly clean but the bedsheet was dirty with holes; when we tried the restaurant, the food we wanted wasn’t available, and while we were deciding, a waitress, a young lad, and the reception man started shouting at each other—unprofessional; we ended up ordering chicken 65 Biryanis, which turned out bland; the hotel could improve if it gets its act together.
