How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The man was very kind, helpful, but a bit eccentric, and the bed was large. The house and room were very dated and everything squeaked and creaked. We wanted an early breakfast, but the host said he needed sleep and wouldn’t serve it before 9 am. Our bedroom was next to the bathroom and toilet, which were outside the room, making my wife feel very uncomfortable at night. The price was also a bit high for what was offered.

The price seemed reasonable, but I never got to stay there; the house looked abandoned and all the curtains were drawn.

The hotel sits on the outskirts of a small village, so it’s absolutely peaceful and quiet. The owner, Denis, is a great conversationalist and very friendly. The room description says “private bathroom,” but in reality you have to leave the room and the bathroom is next door; it’s not a problem since it’s the only room, but it’s worth mentioning.

A solid 10/10. The breakfast was tasty, and the host was very flexible with check‑in times and happy to chat at length. The only downside was that breakfast time was a bit inflexible and rather late.
