“Sublime como siempre.”

I travel to Morocco many times. Whenever I have a few free days I visit. Every time I go to Marrakech I choose this riad. It’s my favorite and I’ve stayed there many times.

“Awful”

We arrived in Marrakech at midnight, tried to call but no response, got lost, finally found the place ourselves, had to get out of the car, grab our bags, walk to the building, and the door was locked. After a long wait and knocking, the doorman opened the door and let us in. The place felt gloomy and dark; the room smelled awful and the air conditioning was in the hallway, not inside. The bed was completely uncomfortable and the décor made us feel depressed.

“Beautiful riad with special touches but overpriced.”

It’s beautiful, stylish and very old. Gorgeous pictures and furniture, a real eye for design and style, though quite dark. There is a real wow factor. Thoughtful touches in the room including fresh rose petals in the bathroom. A pretty roof terrace too. Our waiter Adam was lovely and it was an excellent t breakfast. Despite being beautiful it lacked feeling and cosiness. It was a bit bleak and had no real soul. There wasn’t a heart to it, it felt quite lifeless and there was never anyone around. Quite eerie in a way. Also very hard to find on google maps!
