“Fantastic and friendly stay”

This bed and breakfast is such a beautiful little find. Visiting a friend in Morley and booked here as very close. Every staff member I interacted with were so kind and helpful. From the owner messaging to the lady who checked me in and particularly the two ladies who cooked breakfast. Nothing was too much, staff even telling me the days they worked if I needed anything. I stayed as a lone female and felt so safe and looked after. The room was spotless, bedding soft and clean, shower is amazing and everything in the room you could need. I slept incredible. I asked for a quiet room and was given a room on the ground floor with its own entrance and it was so quiet and felt very safe. The breakfast was great, freshly cooked and really nice ingredients. I will 100% be back to stay here when visiting friends up north. Nothing! It was perfect

“Lovely place. I had a nice stay.”

This place isn’t crowded like Leeds city centre, but it’s close enough. There’s a lovely pub right in front. Debbie at the front desk is very kind, lovely, and a nice person. She welcomed me warmly and gave me the quiet room I asked for. There’s also car parking in front of the pub. The only downside is that there’s no direct access from the pub to the B&B; I had to step outside, walk around the block, and enter the room from a separate entrance, which might be a bonus for some but not for me.

“Nice place but.....”

The room was small and comfortable, but there’s a large black crack on the front of the toilet seat. It’s located on a busy junction with traffic lights, so it’s very noisy.

The clean, modern rooms, great location, and easy parking keep me coming back to The Halfway House, but it’s really the personal touches that make it stand out. I’d probably call myself a regular now, and what I love most is that the staff remember me—my name, my preferred room, even the time I like to book breakfast. Those small details feel huge and make me feel valued rather than just another guest. The whole experience is consistently welcoming, comfortable, and hassle‑free, which is why I keep booking here. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels so genuinely personal, and that’s exactly why The Halfway House feels like a home away from home. I’d gladly recommend it; it’s a fantastic hotel with brilliant staff who go the extra mile.
