The bedrooms were fantastic, but there were too many unleashed children and dogs, the cocktails were way too pricey, and the concierge was ineffective.

The staff were helpful when asked about popular activities and excursions, but getting hot coffee was difficult; the coffee and service were friendly and plentiful, yet the coffee in the main self‑service area was lukewarm by 8:00.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the patio was nice. I also liked the bikes. However, there was no hot tub, and the pool became unusable in the fall even though the hotel says it’s heated.

The view was great, but the service left a lot to be desired.
