Lovely welcome and homely stay
It’s less than a 10‑minute walk from the railway and bus station in Hamilton, with supermarkets reasonably close. The beds were comfortable and the host was friendly. Once the nearby restaurant closed, it got quiet. The blinds don’t do a great job of blocking out light.
The place sits in a great spot and the off‑street parking is convenient, but the lights on the upper floor stopped working the night we arrived; the owner handed us portable lamps, which was fine for our single night.
The Place was good BUT the full price was paid on the night it was booked BUT upon arival my step son was told that the room had NOT been paid for. He rang me and i have e maild Booking . comto see what is going on!! if i can not get my £35 refunded then all the scores given will be moved to the lowest score possible. at the moment i am NOT happy. paying twice after paying on a card that i have never had any trouble with for over 7 years!!!
