“Schönes, persönliches Hotel an der Caldera.”

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast could be chosen anew every day and taken either in front of your own room or directly on the Calderarand. Jenny was always available for questions and requests. On my departure day the weather was terrible and I was allowed to stay in the room for several more hours before leaving. There were plenty of loungers by the pool, and extra pool towels were available. The beds were excellent. Netflix and Amazon Prime worked. The air‑conditioning functioned. Drinks and a nice menu were offered during the day and in the evening. Luggage was carried up the stairs to the taxi. I forgot a water bottle, and it was brought to me again for the taxi! Great! The only problems were mold in two spots in the shower, green rust on the shower fixtures, shampoo and shower lotion in a single plastic bottle, a towel holder that was almost broken and was not repaired despite being reported, a broken safe, and the price‑performance ratio was appropriate for Santorini but still a bit too expensive for the room. The room was small but adequate.

Everything was first class; we stayed in Room 2, which was very private, and the balcony for breakfast and the hot tub were just the right temperature. The staff were excellent. The only downside was the steps, but they actually make it easier to move your suitcase to and from the taxi.
