The room is spotless and cozy
The location is great, and the room is absolutely stunning - clean, beautiful, and well-maintained.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming
The dinner at the on-site restaurant was also very good, with a great selection of local dishes

The location is stunning, right in the Texel countryside and just a short walk along the lagoon where you can spot many birds, and bikes can be rented. The breakfast had a limited assortment, and the restaurant had somewhat long wait times.
Overall it was lovely; the beds are comfortable, there’s air conditioning, and plenty of parking. One mosquito slept in a torn window, and the lights were very low and dim.
The beds are good, the breakfast is good. The floor covering is pretty but not practical (several stains). The shower is pleasantly large, but a few comments: the glass walls are not practical to keep clean – a walk‑in shower would be better, and the caulking turns black (mold?).
“Wer gerne isst, ist in dem ruhigen Hotel gut aufgehoben.”
The breakfast was truly remarkable with a great selection and excellent gluten‑free rolls. The location is quiet, close to the nature reserve, and the highlight was definitely the restaurant – very tasty with a superb vegetarian range. The only issue was that half the bathroom flooded while showering, but that’s almost standard in hotels.
“Texel op z’n best !”
The staff were truly fantastic, friendly and helpful. It was striking that both the slightly older staff and the younger ones exuded exactly the same customer friendliness, though we didn’t stay any longer.
