Breakfast was superb and the service very friendly; it was a relief that the car could park in the courtyard after check‑in, and the entrance code worked smoothly. The view of the half‑timber houses across the street was beautiful. The only minor downside was the lack of an elevator, but that’s expected in an old hotel.

Perfect location right next to the church in the middle of town, short walks to all the highlights of Einbeck, a hassle‑free code check‑in, very friendly staff, a quasi newly renovated room with plenty of space, and a great breakfast buffet.
