Mery, our exceptional hostess, did everything to make our stay enjoyable. It was great to hear the street come alive each morning without being intrusive. The rates are very reasonable, just understand that you pay for a nice DIY stay. The pool is definitely a much-needed part of any location, and it was excellent. No TV, which was inconvenient, as patchy free Wi‑Fi meant content was loading/buffering consistently. This was noticed because my wife cannot easily walk around on the rough edge of the roads when no shops or footpaths are present. The location of the Darsa House is on Jalan Bisma, No. 28 Gianyar, and joins Monkey Forest Road at the busiest intersection! This means that the road comes to a complete standstill every morning and afternoon at school time. Twenty minutes is about average wait time in traffic; even the motor scooters back‑up, too! Although clean, the bathrooms could use a refresh.

Location. I booked here after getting a recommendation. If you have no expectations then it’s okay to stay but if you have basic expectations then no. Bathroom was dirty, there were body hairs on the bathtub and bath walls, sink and bathtub has lots of stains that made me think they’re only washing them not scrubbing or using any cleaning products. Bed is rock hard and pillow is rock hard. After spending a night here my neck is fully contracted and I’m in pain. Till 10pm there were constant children screaming like there’s a playground nearby. Then after 10.30pm, a group started to party VERY loudly till very late. I specifically told and ask them I need stable wifi as I work online, however the internet was horrible as well. I tried many ways to reach out to owner, made the staff call him/her couple of times and in different times, they didn’t respond. Only did respond to the staff’s whatsapp messages -which was in endonesian and I didn’t understand. I sent messages as well. Response came after 36 hours. They didn’t pay me back. I had to stay at my friend’s hotel. Waste of money

Good location and a nice pool. My room lacked a refrigerator, unlike the other rooms.

It was very close to the main road and the market, loads of near by shops, atm, restaurants. The swimming pool was clean, and right in front of the room. The AC was working fine, unlike to some other places where we stayed. The outside lighting is dim. We dont have 24*7 front desk , so if you need something in the night then it would be difficult
