The bed was comfy, the room was clean and roomy enough, and overall I was very happy with the stay. The sliding door to the ensuite was missing its bottom guide so it didn’t work as well as it could, but that’s a minor detail; I have no real complaints, it’s not the Taj Mahal but I wasn’t expecting it to be.

Everything was within walking distance, which was great. However, a lot of stuff was stacked up outside our door.

The staff were really nice, the bathroom was clean, and the heating worked well. The pub steak was exceptional. The single beds were horribly saggy and terrible, and the bed coverlet smelled like spicy underarm odor, obviously not washed often enough.
