The host Damira is a gorgeous, beautiful lady who is eager and supportive, making sure your stay is comfortable and extremely accommodating; the location is superbly close to all amenities, and there are no negatives to report.

After checking in, my travel companion and I decided not to stay at Damira Rooms because of the stairs to the second floor; we lost our non‑refundable money but safety mattered to me in my eighties, so we found nearby accommodation with a lift. The address was a bit tricky to locate—we got off a bus in Zagreb and a taxi dropped us a short distance away.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the host, Mme Damira, was exceptionally friendly. The location is great—just a few minutes from the city center, the port, and the bus and train stations—and our room had a balcony overlooking the mall. The only downside was the narrow stairs in the old building, which is expected given the central spot.
