“Go, go, go - epic place with fantastic vibe!”

From arrival to departure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The location might be a bit tough for people with reduced mobility because there’s no direct car access; you park in the communal village lot about 100 m from Villa Filip and walk down to the property. The place is very close to the lake, offering fantastic views and tranquility. Stojan is a sweet host that makes you feel great. A few steps down to the beach side, you’ll find a few restaurants and bars. Restaurant Ribar serves a wide range of dishes. Anything with local fresh trout, grilled or fried, should not be missed. The lake water quality is phenomenal. The village Trpejca is pure bliss. Parking information could have been clearer, but that’s not a deal‑breaker.

The terrace views of the lake are spectacular. The staff treatment is good. The shower isn’t especially comfortable.

Villa Filip is more than just a place to stay; it’s a gateway into the local community and surroundings. Run by a three‑generation family, it offers everything a first‑time visitor to Lake Ohrid might need: comfortable rooms with panoramic lake and Trpejca village views, easy (2‑minute walk) access to one of the best beaches on Ohrid Lake, and above all, genuine hospitality from the owners. When planning your visit, make sure you have enough time for hikes along the coast, a visit to the ancient St. Naum monastery with 12th‑century frescoes, and simply relaxing on your balcony with a good wine while soaking in the sprawling lake views. In short, staying at Villa Filip will make your visit to Ohrid Lake a real five‑star experience.

“Correcto”

The views are good. The ad claimed parking was included, which isn’t true. You have to find parking in a very traffic‑congested spot, and then you have to descend pedestrian stairs with luggage to reach the accommodation. The location information is inaccurate.
