After a few days in Łagów, we headed to Gościniec Zacisze in Kłodnica for a quiet weekend close to nature, and we were not disappointed. The village itself is just a handful of houses in the forest, familiar from earlier bike trips. We spent three calm days on well‑maintained grounds after intense cycling and swimming at nearby lakes Dziarg (2 km), Niesłysz, and Kałek (Gryżyński). We felt very well cared for. Mrs. Marzena and her family are efficient, excellent hosts, caring but unobtrusive. The attic rooms with bathrooms were small but beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Each morning began with a wonderful breakfast featuring local products and homemade sausages, and I especially appreciated the vegetarian options. In the evenings loungers, hammocks, books, and a dog were available. A major convenience was a café corner open all day with espresso, tea, juices, water, fruit, and even cake. Thank you and we highly recommend.
