“Never again”
The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, yet everything else was terrible: the room was filthy, the Jacuzzi was both dirty and broken, the curtains had stains, spiders were everywhere, and the place smelled musty. We left after only 3 minutes, and the area feels sketchy.
“Travelers Inn by OYO in Wichita Falls - never going there again”
The property looked old, dirty, and poorly maintained, with gaps around the door and noisy traffic from ill‑fitted windows; the AC worked but was loud, the bed was uncomfortable and the plastic mattress cover caused sweating, plus mold appeared in the bathroom. On the day I arrived, my original reservation was cancelled without warning, and I had to rebook at double the rate.
“Do not book a room with them”
The rooms were filthy, with leftover food, trash, bedbugs, roaches, and a strong smell of drug paraphernalia—like crack or meth. I was traveling with my children, we left immediately, and received a refund.
Bugs swarmed the entire room, making it impossible to stay.
“They canceled our stay on us because they overbooked the hotel.”
I arrived at 6 pm only to be told the hotel was overbooked and my room was cancelled; they said I had to contact a third‑party for any refund or charges. The town was sold out, so I drove 50 minutes to find another hotel.
