I liked the location. It is close to everything you want to do in Fredericksburg. The check in staff was pleasant. 1. The fire alarm went off 4 times. I had trouble going to sleep due to the anticipation that it was going to happen again. 2. Without going to the actual hotel lobby, calling the front desk was difficult. 3. It is very loud in the rooms. You could hear the other occupants clearly through our walls and across the hallway. Now I understand why they provide you with ear plugs. 4. There is not an actual shower. There was a very large jacuzzi tub (which was nice), but I had trouble climbing in and once in it was very slick. The shower head is a hand held piece. It works, but not convenient

The property was exquisite, blending old‑world timelessness with new‑world charm. We’ll stay again soon! The shower was a bit confusing to turn on, but we figured it out.

Location is perfect! Room 8 has an amazing bathroom with jacuzzi and primo shower and soft comfy robes. Nice towels and shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Bed and bedding are very comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast in the main hotel was yummy. I would have liked a full length mirror somewhere in the room or closet. A small bedside table is needed on both sides of the bed, not just on one side

The hotel was gorgeous, and the assigned parking made things easier. The spot’s location lets you stroll straight to every shop, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Don’t miss Maggies Bar downstairs – it’s a must‑visit.
