The lodge is in a superb spot, near both the beach and the river, with cozy and comfortable rooms; the breakfast is truly special because it’s made on the spot according to the menu you choose, meeting your wishes and avoiding waste. A special thanks to Flavia, a great host who helped us with questions and recommended the best tours and restaurants. My main criticism concerns the roads and access to Nova Caraíva: the roads are completely abandoned, in terrible condition, and lack signage, especially if you come via Monte Pascoal; I believe it’s important for merchants and locals to hold the government accountable for maintaining this vital infrastructure for tourism and local income. I have no negative remarks about the lodge itself, just a suggestion: rooms could have a TV.

The location is amazing, the breakfast is exceptional, and the staff is wonderful and super kind. Unfortunately I stayed only one night, but I have nothing bad to say. I hope to return soon and stay longer.
