The room was amazing and smelled fresh. The location was great, and the food just around the corner was amazing, and they gave big portions.

The facility is very secure and spotless. You can order via WhatsApp from a restaurant located just 5 minutes from the facility to have your meals delivered to your room. Nothing else.

The rooms were spacious and clean, thoughtfully designed, and it was a lovely stay. Happy we could stay at the Figtree. Definitely worth it when making a trip in the morning to Cape Town or Durban and stopping in Colesberg. The bedding quality was really exceptional. The room was beautiful and so comfy. It overlooks a stunning mountain. There is a small seating area outside to have a cup of coffee. I liked this place. The area isn’t the best, slightly dodgy feel to it, but honestly if you wish to stay overnight in Colesberg this is a suitable place to settle for the night; it has high walls so provides a sense of security. My TV unfortunately wasn’t connected to Netflix, but the other room did connect. The one light fixture was cracked and damaged, so it broke easily and I had to pay a charge for that, unfortunately, but I understand these things happen and the owners were thoughtful about it. Overall I would recommend the Figtree. Absolutely!

The space is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. It’s the small details that set this place apart from the rest. We had a really nice stay. There is also safe and secure parking. Just up the street is also a very cozy restaurant. Just take into consideration that the geyser isn’t on all the time to save energy. You need to communicate with the host about shower times.

That shower was sensational and the place is so clean; I would honestly go there again without hesitation. Nothing else, I loved every second of it.
