Facing Mammoth Mountain, just steps away from everything. Great view, parking facilities, and an atmospheric ski lodge. The room was warm, and the loft where the kids slept was even warmer. I had to keep the noisy fan on all night, which wasn’t fun, and opening the window let bugs in because of the humidity outside. Air conditioning was needed.

A comfy room, but the check‑in was a nightmare: my mother waited 30 minutes, only to be told she couldn’t check in because the reservation was in my name. She promised to pick me up outside in the car, but the front desk guy refused and started serving someone else, forcing me to wait another 20 minutes. The staff offered no help. We tried the gondola and were told it was closed because of wind, then attempted the mountain ski lift but were denied access, told it was reserved for mountain bikers. The restaurant was shut, and when we asked a lobby shop clerk about its opening time she didn’t know and had to Google it, claiming it should have been open. We ended up buying a few snacks from that shop and spent the rest of the evening in the room.

We received a free upgrade to the premium rooms because the hotel was quiet. The location was excellent. The bar was nice, and the food at the restaurant was super tasty. The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and calm. Nothing else to mention.
